What can we expect to pay for property  tax on our new home?
Tax rates for Bandera and Medina County are set in October of each year by the governing bodies, and are due on January 31. There are many variables in determining what your tax rate will be, but as a GENERAL guide, in 2004, a homeowner in the Bandera school district, with NO EXEMPTIONS, paid approximately $232 per $10,000 of homestead value.

Does a custom home take longer to build than a standard home?
Building a custom home with Signature takes approximately six months from interim (mortgage) closing to final close. This is based upon your availability and participation in the process through frequent meetings at your home site.

What kind of warranty comes with my home?
The Signature home warranty meets or exceeds the TRCC warranty. More information about the TRCC warranty can be found here: http://www.trcc.state.tx.us/faq/faq_warranty.htm. Because we live and work in Bandera County, you can rest assured that if anything goes wrong with your Signature home, we will be there to fix it.
